| Sommario: | Publicated for the first time in 1991, CORBA provides abstractions for distributed object oriented programming to allow developers to integrate diverse applications into heterogeneous distributed systems.
Despite its original flexibility to various environments, CORBA has had to evolve during the years in order to be viable as a standard for distributed object-oriented systems: this paper examines the issues and the strategies to make services in a CORBA environment fault tolerant. |
